स॒मा॒नलो॑को भवति पुन॒र्भुवाप॑रः॒ पतिः॑ । यो॒३जं पञ्चौ॑दनं॒ दक्षि॑णाज्योतिषं॒ ददा॑ति

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 9.5.28

samāná-lokó bhavati punár-bhū́ḥ apáraḥ pátiḥ | yó yójáṃ pañcáudanam dakṣiṇā́-jyótiṣaṃ dádāti ||

The later husband, born anew, becometh sharer of the self-same world—whoso bestoweth a yoke-team, the fivefold rice-oblation, a rite whose splendour is the priestly gift.

Suami yang kemudian, lahir semula, menjadi sekutu dalam alam yang sama—sesiapa yang mengurniakan sepasang penarik kuk, persembahan nasi lima kali (pañca-odana), suatu upacara yang sinarnya ialah dāna-dakṣiṇā (pemberian kepada pendeta).
