अव॑ सृज॒ पुन॑रग्ने पि॒तृभ्यो॒ यस्त॒ आहु॑त॒श्चर॑ति स्व॒धावा॑न्। आयु॒र्वसा॑न॒ उप॑ यातु॒ शेषः॒ सं ग॑च्छतां त॒न्वा सु॒वर्चाः॑
áva sṛja púnar agne pitṛ́bhyo yás ta āhútaś cárati svadhā́vān | āyúrvásāna úpa yātu śéṣaḥ sáṃ gacchatāṃ tanvā̀ suvárchāḥ
Send him away again, O Agni, unto the Fathers—him who, offered to thee, fareth on, possessed of svadhā. Let what remaineth, clothing itself with life, draw near; let it come together wholly with the body, in goodly radiance.
Wahai Agni, lepaskanlah dia kembali kepada para Pitṛ (Bapa Leluhur)—dia yang, setelah dipersembahkan kepadamu, meneruskan perjalanannya, berbekal svadhā. Biarlah yang tinggal, menyarung kembali hayat-umur, mendekat; biarlah ia berhimpun seluruhnya dengan tubuh, dalam sinar yang elok.
