दुःखप्रदोषमोषाय शस्त्रेणाष्टाधिकं शतं हुत्वा हूं सम्पुटेनैव विदध्यात् मन्त्रदीपनं

Untuk melenyapkan penderitaan dan cela yang timbul daripada pengaruh jahat, hendaklah dilakukan persembahan api sebanyak seratus lapan kali dengan menggunakan ‘senjata’ sebagai alat ritual, serta mengucapkan mantra yang diselubungi suku kata “hūṃ”; dengan demikian terlaksanalah mantra-dīpana, yakni penyalaan/pengaktifan mantra.
