Related Themes: Agni Purana 84.41 (recaka and caitanya projection); Agni Purana 84 (nyāsa/mudrā/prāṇāyāma integration)
It teaches a specific mantra-application combined with prāṇāyāma (pūraka) and the Aṅkuśa-mudrā to ritually control/arrange energies symbolized as pāśa (bonds) within the Nivṛtti phase, using the śakti termed Jyeṣṭhā.
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves operational ritual technology—seed-mantras, mudrās, and breath-control—showing the Agni Purana’s coverage of practical pūjā-vidhi and mantra-tantra alongside other disciplines.
By binding and directing the senses/energies (pāśa) through mantra, breath, and mudrā, the practitioner aims at inner restraint and purification, aligning the mind with nivṛtti (withdrawal from worldly entanglement) for steadier worship and merit.
