Vāstu Concerning Towns and Related Settlements

It gives a Vāstu-style directional classification (dik-vibhāga), assigning particular communities/occupations—ascetics and Brahmins to the north, and fruit-sellers/merchants to the north-east (Īśāna).
Beyond theology, it preserves practical civil-planning knowledge: how spaces (quarters of a settlement/temple precinct) are conceptually organized by direction, reflecting a blend of cosmology, social order, and applied Vāstu norms.
Placing the virtuous/ascetic class toward the north and commerce toward Īśāna aligns human activity with auspicious directions, implying harmony with dharma and a reduction of inauspiciousness through orderly, direction-aware living.
