अष्टादश तथा कोट्यो वैष्णव्या भेद उच्यते । या सा च राजसी शक्तिः पालनी चैव वैष्णवी । या ब्रह्मशक्तिः सत्त्वस्था अनन्तास्ताः प्रकीर्तिताः ॥

aṣṭādaśa tathā koṭyo vaiṣṇavyā bheda ucyate | yā sā ca rājasī śaktiḥ pālanī caiva vaiṣṇavī | yā brahmaśaktiḥ sattvasthā anantās tāḥ prakīrtitāḥ ||

वैष्णवीचे अठरा कोटी भेद सांगितले आहेत। जी राजसी शक्ती आणि पालन करणारी आहे, तीच वैष्णवी होय। आणि जी ब्रह्मशक्ती सत्त्वात स्थित आहे, ती अनंत रूपांनी प्रकीर्तित आहे।
