Cosmogony and the Ninefold Creation: Rudra’s Origin and the Prelude to the Sāvitrī–Veda Narrative

तदा सृष्ट्वाऽन्यसर्गं तु तदा दध्यौ प्रजापतिः । असाधकांस्तु तान् मत्वा मुख्यसर्गादिसंभवान् ॥ २.३१ ॥

tadā sṛṣṭvā ’nyasargaṃ tu tadā dadhyau prajāpatiḥ | asādhakāṃs tu tān matvā mukhyasargādisaṃbhavān || 2.31 ||

तेव्हा दुसरा सर्ग निर्माण करून प्रजापतीने पुन्हा चिंतन केले. मुख्यसर्ग व आरंभीच्या अवस्थांतून उत्पन्न झालेल्यांना असाधक मानून त्याने पुढे विचार केला.
