एवमुक्त्वा महाभागा सखीगणसमावृता । गत्वा प्रभासक्षेत्रं सा प्रतिष्ठाप्य महेश्वरम् । गौरीश्वरेति विख्यातं पूजयंती विधानतः
evamuktvā mahābhāgā sakhīgaṇasamāvṛtā | gatvā prabhāsakṣetraṃ sā pratiṣṭhāpya maheśvaram | gaurīśvareti vikhyātaṃ pūjayaṃtī vidhānataḥ
असे बोलून ती महाभागा देवी सखीगणांनी वेढलेली प्रभासक्षेत्री गेली। तेथे तिने महेश्वर-लिंगाची प्रतिष्ठा केली; तो ‘गौरीश्वर’ म्हणून विख्यात झाला, आणि तिने विधिपूर्वक त्याची पूजा केली।
