या तिथिर्दयिता विष्णोः सा तिथिर्मम वल्लभा । न तां चोपोषयेद्यस्तु स पापिष्ठतराधिकः
yā tithirdayitā viṣṇoḥ sā tithirmama vallabhā | na tāṃ copoṣayedyastu sa pāpiṣṭhatarādhikaḥ
जी तिथी भगवान विष्णूंना प्रिय आहे, तीच तिथी मला ही अत्यंत वल्लभ आहे। पण जो त्या दिवशी उपवास करीत नाही, तो अधिकच पापिष्ठ ठरतो।
