स तान्समाश्वास्य सुरान्वरिष्ठं कोपानलं तत्र ययौ प्रहृष्टः । दृष्ट्वा च तं वै रविपुंजकाशमुवाच विष्णुर्वचनं वरिष्ठम्
sa tānsamāśvāsya surānvariṣṭhaṃ kopānalaṃ tatra yayau prahṛṣṭaḥ | dṛṣṭvā ca taṃ vai ravipuṃjakāśamuvāca viṣṇurvacanaṃ variṣṭham
देवांना धीर देऊन विष्णू आनंदाने तेथे त्या अत्यंत प्रचंड ‘क्रोधाग्नी’कडे गेले। सूर्यसमूहासारखा तेजस्वी त्याला पाहून विष्णूंनी परम श्रेष्ठ वचन उच्चारले।
