अस्त्रार्पणं यः प्रयतः प्रयत्नाच्छृणोति राजा भुवि भावितातात्मा । सोऽभ्येति युद्धे विजयं परं हि सुतांश्च धर्मार्थयशोभिरामाः
astrārpaṇaṃ yaḥ prayataḥ prayatnācchṛṇoti rājā bhuvi bhāvitātātmā | so'bhyeti yuddhe vijayaṃ paraṃ hi sutāṃśca dharmārthayaśobhirāmāḥ
पृथ्वीवरील जो राजा संयमी होऊन, प्रयत्नपूर्वक, या अस्त्र-समर्पणाची कथा ऐकतो—त्याचे अंतःकरण शुद्ध होते; तो युद्धात परम विजय मिळवतो आणि धर्म, अर्थ व यश यांत रमणीय पुत्रही प्राप्त करतो.
