सूत उवाच । ऋचीकतनयः पूर्वं जमदग्निरिति स्मृतः । हाटकेश्वरजे क्षेत्रे तत्रासीद्दग्धकल्मषः
sūta uvāca | ṛcīkatanayaḥ pūrvaṃ jamadagniriti smṛtaḥ | hāṭakeśvaraje kṣetre tatrāsīddagdhakalmaṣaḥ
सूत म्हणाला—पूर्वी ऋचीकाचा पुत्र ‘जमदग्नी’ या नावाने प्रसिद्ध होता। हाटकेश्वराच्या पवित्र क्षेत्रात तो राहात असे; जणू त्याचे पाप दग्ध झाले होते।
