सूत उवाच । इममर्थं पुरा पृष्टो वासवेन बृहस्पतिः । यथा प्रोवाच विप्रेंद्रास्तद्वो वक्ष्यामि सांप्रतम्
sūta uvāca | imamarthaṃ purā pṛṣṭo vāsavena bṛhaspatiḥ | yathā provāca vipreṃdrāstadvo vakṣyāmi sāṃpratam
सूत म्हणाला—हा विषय पूर्वी वासव (इंद्र) यांनी बृहस्पतींना विचारला होता. हे विप्रश्रेष्ठांनो! त्यांनी जसे सांगितले तसेच मी आता तुम्हाला सांगतो.
