तस्मात्तस्य वधोपायं कथयामि महात्मनः । पार्वत्यां यो महेशानात्सूनुरुत्पत्स्यते हि सः
tasmāttasya vadhopāyaṃ kathayāmi mahātmanaḥ | pārvatyāṃ yo maheśānātsūnurutpatsyate hi saḥ
“म्हणून, हे महात्म्यांनो, मी त्याच्या वधाचा उपाय सांगतो—पार्वतीपासून महेशान (शिव) यांच्याकडून जो पुत्र उत्पन्न होईल, तोच त्याचा वध करील।”
