इंद्र उवाच । विश्वामित्र प्रतुष्टोऽस्मि तपसानेन पार्थिव । वरं वरय भद्रं ते यदभीष्टं हृदिस्थितम्
iṃdra uvāca | viśvāmitra pratuṣṭo'smi tapasānena pārthiva | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te yadabhīṣṭaṃ hṛdisthitam
इंद्र म्हणाला—हे विश्वामित्र, हे राजन्, तुझ्या या तपाने मी अत्यंत संतुष्ट आहे. तुझे कल्याण होवो; हृदयात जे अभिष्ट आहे तो वर माग।
