ज्येष्ठा चान्याथ कल्याणी ख्याता कात्यायनीति च । यस्याः कात्यायनः पुत्रो वेदार्थानां प्रजल्पकः
jyeṣṭhā cānyātha kalyāṇī khyātā kātyāyanīti ca | yasyāḥ kātyāyanaḥ putro vedārthānāṃ prajalpakaḥ
दुसरी जी ज्येष्ठ व कल्याणी होती, ती ‘कात्यायनी’ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध झाली; जिचा पुत्र कात्यायन वेदार्थांचा वाग्मी प्रवक्ता होता.
