तापस्य ऊचुः । नास्माकं भूषणैः कार्यं भूषिता वल्कलैर्वयम् । तस्माद्गच्छ निजं हर्म्यमर्थिभ्यः संप्रदीयताम्
tāpasya ūcuḥ | nāsmākaṃ bhūṣaṇaiḥ kāryaṃ bhūṣitā valkalairvayam | tasmādgaccha nijaṃ harmyamarthibhyaḥ saṃpradīyatām
तपस्विन्या म्हणाल्या—“आम्हाला भूषणांची गरज नाही; आम्ही वल्कलवस्त्रांनीच भूषित आहोत. म्हणून तू आपल्या प्रासादात परत जा; ही भूषणे गरजू/अर्थी लोकांना यथायोग्य द्यावीत।”
