इत्थं स श्येनसंप्रोक्तः पत्न्याप्युत्साहितः खगः । अयुध्यत्तेन श्येनेन स्वदुर्गद्वारमाश्रितः
itthaṃ sa śyenasaṃproktaḥ patnyāpyutsāhitaḥ khagaḥ | ayudhyattena śyenena svadurgadvāramāśritaḥ
श्येनाच्या वचनाने प्रेरित व पत्नीनेही उत्साहित केलेला तो खग आपल्या दुर्गाच्या द्वारी आश्रय घेऊन त्या श्येनाशी युद्ध करू लागला.
