तदा निराश्रया विप्राः क्षेत्रसंन्यासिनोनघाः । उपाकृताश्चाविरतं महाक्षेत्रप्रतिग्रहात्
tadā nirāśrayā viprāḥ kṣetrasaṃnyāsinonaghāḥ | upākṛtāścāvirataṃ mahākṣetrapratigrahāt
तेव्हा ते निष्पाप ब्राह्मण—क्षेत्रनिष्ठ संन्यासी—सांसारिक आधाराविना होते; तरीही महाक्षेत्र (काशी) येथे मिळणाऱ्या दान-प्रतिग्रहाने ते अखंड पोसले जात होते।
