वसिष्ठश्च महाभागो ब्रह्मणो मानसाः सुताः । सप्त ब्रह्माण इत्येते पुराणे निश्चयं गताः
vasiṣṭhaśca mahābhāgo brahmaṇo mānasāḥ sutāḥ | sapta brahmāṇa ityete purāṇe niścayaṃ gatāḥ
आणि महाभाग वसिष्ठही— हे ब्रह्मदेवाचे मानसपुत्र आहेत. पुराणांत हे ‘सप्त ब्रह्मा’ म्हणून निश्चयाने प्रसिद्ध आहेत।
