raktaṃ vā pītavarṇaṃ vā sarvalakṣaṇasaṃyutam | kuṅkumena viliptāṅgāvagrajanmahayāvapi

Translation

दानाचा अश्व लाल किंवा पिवळ्या वर्णाचा, सर्व शुभ लक्षणांनी युक्त असावा। तसेच अग्रजन्मा ब्राह्मण व अश्व—दोघांच्याही अंगांना कुंकुमाचा लेप करावा।
