रूपवान् सुभगश्चैव सर्वशत्रुभयंकरः । इन्द्रस्य दयितोऽत्यर्थं जय इत्येव चापरः

rūpavān subhagaścaiva sarvaśatrubhayaṃkaraḥ | indrasya dayito'tyarthaṃ jaya ityeva cāparaḥ

तो रूपवान् व सुभग होता, सर्व शत्रूंना भयकारक; इंद्राचा अत्यंत प्रिय होता आणि ‘जय’ या नावानेही ओळखला जात असे।
