येन यात्रां व्रजन् वेत्ति फलमानं निजार्जितम् । उक्तं कृच्छ्रफलं तीर्थे जलरूपे नृपोत्तम
yena yātrāṃ vrajan vetti phalamānaṃ nijārjitam | uktaṃ kṛcchraphalaṃ tīrthe jalarūpe nṛpottama
या मानाने तीर्थयात्रेस जाणारा मनुष्य आपल्या अर्जित पुण्यफळाचे परिमाण जाणू शकतो. आता, हे नृपोत्तमा, जलरूप तीर्थांच्या संदर्भाने कृच्छ्र-व्रताचे फळ सांगितले जाते।
