स्वीकृत्याथ शुभस्थानं भूपरीक्षां विधाय च । दशोपचारान्कुर्वीत लक्षणोद्धारपूर्वकान्
svīkṛtyātha śubhasthānaṃ bhūparīkṣāṃ vidhāya ca | daśopacārānkurvīta lakṣaṇoddhārapūrvakān
शुभ स्थान स्वीकारून व भूमीची विधिवत परीक्षा करून, स्थळाची लक्षणे ठरवून तयारीपासून आरंभ होणारे दशोपचार करून शिवपूजनाची क्रिया योग्य रीतीने प्रतिष्ठित करावी।
