दक्षस्य यज्ञप्रवृत्तिः तथा ईश्वरवर्जितदेवसमागमः

दधीच उवाच । किमेभिरमरैरन्यैः पूजितैरध्वरे फलम् । राजा चेदध्वरस्यास्य न रुद्रः पूज्यते त्वया
dadhīca uvāca | kimebhiramarairanyaiḥ pūjitairadhvare phalam | rājā cedadhvarasyāsya na rudraḥ pūjyate tvayā
दधीचि म्हणाला—या यज्ञात इतर देवांची पूजा करून काय फल मिळेल? या अध्वराचा राजा रुद्र तू पूजत नसशील, तर या यज्ञाचे राजत्व तरी काय?
