रुद्राविर्भावकारणम् — Causes and Pattern of Rudra’s Manifestation

तैस्तु संच्छादितं सर्वं चतुर्दशविधं जगत् । तान्दृष्टा विविधान्रुद्रान् रुद्रमाह पितामहः

त्यांनी चौदा लोकांचा समस्त जगत् पूर्णपणे आच्छादित व व्यापून टाकला. त्या विविध रूपांच्या रुद्रांना पाहून पितामह ब्रह्म्याने रुद्र (शिव) यांना संबोधिले।
