Transliteration
sahásra-śṛṅgo vṛṣabhó yáḥ samudrā́d udā́carat | ténā sahasyèna vayáṁ ní jánān svāpayāmasi ||
Translation
सहस्र शिंगांचा तो वृषभ, जो समुद्र-गर्भातून वर उगवला—त्या सहस्र-बलाने आम्ही जनांना खाली वाकवून निद्रेत लीन करतो, शांत स्थैर्यात स्थापन करतो.
