अद्वेषो नो मरुतो गातुमेतन श्रोता हवं जरितुरेवयामरुत् । विष्णोर्महः समन्यवो युयोतन स्मद्रथ्यो न दंसनाप द्वेषांसि सनुतः ॥
adveṣó no maruto gātúm étana śrótā haváṃ jaritúr evayā́marut | víṣṇor maháḥ sa-manyavo yuyótana smád rathyó na daṃsanā́pa dveṣā́ṃsi sanutáḥ ||
हे मरुतांनो, अद्वेष (द्वेषरहित) मार्गाने आमच्याकडे या; हे मरुतांनो, स्तोत्याचा हव (आह्वान) ऐका. विष्णूच्या महत्त्वासाठी समन्यव (एकचित्त उष्मा/उत्साह) होऊन, आमच्यापासून द्वेष दूर हाकलून द्या—जसा कुशल रथी वाट मोकळी करतो—आणि आम्हाला शत्रुतांच्या पलीकडे जिंकून नेा.
