Sukta 2.38
विश्वस्य हि श्रुष्टये देव ऊर्ध्वः प्र बाहवा पृथुपाणिः सिसर्ति । आपश्चिदस्य व्रत आ निमृग्रा अयं चिद्वातो रमते परिज्मन् ॥
víśvasya hí śruṣṭáye devá ūrdhváḥ prá bā́havā pṛthú-pāṇiḥ sísarti | ā́paś cid asya vratá ā́ ni-mṛ́grā ayáṃ cid vā́to ramate pári-jman ||
सर्वांच्या श्रवण-प्रतिसादासाठी देव ऊर्ध्व उगवतो; विस्तीर्ण-हस्त, पृथुपाणि, तो आपले बाहू पुढे पसरतो. पाणीही त्याच्या व्रताच्या अधीन होऊन नियत रूपे धारण करतात; हा वायूही आपल्या परिज्मन्-पथाभोवती आनंदाने फिरतो.
