Sukta 1.29
यच्चिद्धि सत्य सोमपा अनाशस्ता इव स्मसि । आ तू न इन्द्र शंसय गोष्वश्वेषु शुभ्रिषु सहस्रेषु तुवीमघ ॥
yác cíd dhí satya somapā anāśastā́ iva smási | ā́ tú na indra śaṃsaya góṣv áśveṣu śubhríṣu sahásreṣu tuvīmagha ||
हे सत्य सोमपा! आम्ही जरी जणू अप्रशंसित व अल्प-समर्थ असलो, तरीही—हे इंद्रा—आमच्याकडे ये आणि आम्हाला यथार्थ स्तुतीस योग्य कर; गोषु (किरणांत) आणि अश्वेषु (बल-शक्तींमध्ये), उज्ज्वल सहस्र-समृद्धींमध्ये—हे तुवीमघ (बहुदाता)।
