Sukta 1.24
अबुध्ने राजा वरुणो वनस्योर्ध्वं स्तूपं ददते पूतदक्षः । नीचीनाः स्थुरुपरि बुध्न एषामस्मे अन्तर्निहिताः केतवः स्युः ॥
abúdhne rājā́ váruṇo vánasyordhváṃ stū́paṃ dádhāte pūtá-dakṣaḥ | nīcī́nāḥ sthúr úpari budhná eṣām asmē ántar ní-hitāḥ ketávaḥ syuḥ ||
अबुध्न (अदृश्य आधार असलेल्या) वनस्य (जगद्-वृक्ष) राजा वरुण, पूतदक्ष (शुद्ध विवेक असलेला), स्तूप (स्तंभ) उर्ध्व (सरळ वर) उभा करतो. यांची मुळे खाली स्थिर, शिखर वर; ते केतवः (किरण-चिन्ह) आमच्यात अंतर्निहित (अंतरी दडलेले) असोत.
