ततस्तु स्थविरो राजा सत्ये धर्मे व्यवस्थितः।।।।ज्येष्ठं यशस्विनं पुत्रं रुदन्राज्यमयाचत।
tatas tu sthaviro rājā satye dharme vyavasthitaḥ |
jyeṣṭhaṃ yaśasvinaṃ putraṃ rudan rājyam ayācata ||
मग तो वृद्ध राजा—सत्य व धर्मात दृढ—रडत रडत आपल्या यशस्वी ज्येष्ठ पुत्राला राज्य स्वीकारण्याची विनंती करू लागला।
