स राजा सत्यवाग्देव्या वरदानमनुस्मरन्।।।।मुमोह वचनं श्रुत्वा कैकेय्याः क्रूरमप्रियम्।
sa rājā satyavāg devyā varadānam anusmaran |
mumoha vacanaṃ śrutvā kaikeyyāḥ krūram apriyam ||
तो सत्यवचनी राजा, देवीला दिलेल्या वरदानांचे स्मरण करीत, कैकेयीचे क्रूर व अप्रिय वचन ऐकून मूर्च्छित झाला।
