Vrata: none
Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"vira","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_journey":"From the forceful, decisive act of Mahādeva placing his foot on Muṇḍa’s back to awe at his long, severe tapas performed across sacred austerity-sites."}
It emphasizes the extraordinary potency of tapas performed at tapas-tīrthas, showing that even Mahādeva undertakes long, arduous austerities there—highlighting the sanctity and merit (puṇya) of such pilgrimage sites.
While centered on tapas, it supports Bhakti by presenting disciplined austerity as a devotional offering—an act of steadfast reverence that magnifies spiritual merit when aligned with sacred places and divine intent.
The verse indirectly reflects Kalpa (ritual discipline) and Dharma-śāstric principles: choosing appropriate tīrthas and undertaking regulated austerities over time, which is central to Purāṇic guidance on pilgrimage and vrata-like observances.
