श्रुणुयुस्ते पुराणानि प्राहुरित्थं पुराविदः । अहं तु गौतममुनेः सर्वज्ञाद्ब्रह्यवादिनः ॥ ४ ॥
śruṇuyuste purāṇāni prāhuritthaṃ purāvidaḥ | ahaṃ tu gautamamuneḥ sarvajñādbrahyavādinaḥ || 4 ||
पुराणविदांनी म्हटले—“अशा प्रकारे आम्ही तुमची पुराणे ऐकू.” पण मी तर सर्वज्ञ ब्रह्मवादी गौतम मुनींकडून (ही) श्रवण केली आहेत.
