आवी वैश्यस्य विज्ञेया श्रूयतामजिने तथा । विप्रस्य चोक्तमैणेयं रौरवं क्षत्रियस्य तु ॥ १७ ॥

āvī vaiśyasya vijñeyā śrūyatāmajine tathā | viprasya coktamaiṇeyaṃ rauravaṃ kṣatriyasya tu || 17 ||

वैश्यासाठी योग्य अजिन मेंढीचे कातडे आहे; आणि मृगचर्मांविषयी ऐका—विप्रासाठी मैणेय (कृष्णसार) चर्म सांगितले आहे, तर क्षत्रियासाठी रौरव (चित्तेदार मृग) चर्म।
