Sanatkumara (in dialogue with Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta (peace)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
It frames pregnancy and well-being as part of dharmic order (ṛta), teaching that auspiciousness is read through Jyotiṣa patterns—encouraging responsible, sattvic living aligned with cosmic indicators.
Indirectly: by valuing auspicious timing and harmony, it supports a devotee’s life of discipline and gratitude toward the deities of the grahas (especially Surya and Chandra), which traditionally complements Vishnu-bhakti through orderly, dharmic conduct.
Jyotiṣa Vedāṅga—house-based assessment: benefics in lagna/Moon and trines/2nd are favorable; malefics in 3rd/6th/11th are considered less harmful (upacaya), and Surya’s aspect is taken as strengthening the outcome.
