हतेऽत्र पृथिवी सर्वा तव वश्या भविष्यति । खांडिक्यश्चाह तान्सर्वानेवमेव न संशयः ॥ ५५ ॥

hate'tra pṛthivī sarvā tava vaśyā bhaviṣyati | khāṃḍikyaścāha tānsarvānevameva na saṃśayaḥ || 55 ||

“हे मारले गेले तर इथली सारी पृथ्वी तुझ्या अधीन होईल.” खांडिक्यानेही सर्वांना म्हटले—“हो, तसेच होईल; यात संशय नाही.”
