इत्येतदुत्तरं खण्डं पंचमं सर्वपुण्यदम् । पंचखंडयुतं पाद्मं यः श्रृणोति नरोत्तमः ॥ ३६ ॥
ityetaduttaraṃ khaṇḍaṃ paṃcamaṃ sarvapuṇyadam | paṃcakhaṃḍayutaṃ pādmaṃ yaḥ śrṛṇoti narottamaḥ || 36 ||
अशा रीतीने हा पंचम उत्तरखण्ड सर्व पुण्य देणारा आहे। जो पाच खंडांनी युक्त पद्मपुराण श्रवण करतो, तो नरोत्तम होय।
