Narada (instructional narration within the Purva Bhaga)
Vrata: Madana-Dvādaśī-vrata (concluding acts)
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
The verse frames dāna and brāhmaṇa-satkara (honoring the learned) as a concrete expression of devotion to Śrī Hari—offering Viṣṇu’s image and then satisfying brāhmaṇas with food and dakṣiṇā completes the religious act.
Bhakti here is ritualized as service: devotion to Viṣṇu is shown by offering a sacred representation of Hari and by respectfully feeding and gifting those who preserve Vedic knowledge, turning worship into compassionate, dharmic action.
The verse highlights kalpa-oriented ritual practice—proper dāna procedure, brāhmaṇa-bhojana, and dakṣiṇā—showing the applied discipline of Vedic rites and their correct completion through honoring officiants/recipients.
