The Explanation of the Twelve-Month Caturthī Vrata
यावज्जीवं तु वा नार्या कार्य्यं सौभाग्यवांछया । व्रतेनानेन सदृशं स्त्रीणां सौभाग्यदायकम् ॥ ५० ॥
yāvajjīvaṃ tu vā nāryā kāryyaṃ saubhāgyavāṃchayā | vratenānena sadṛśaṃ strīṇāṃ saubhāgyadāyakam || 50 ||
जी स्त्री सौभाग्याची इच्छा धरते, तिने आयुष्यभर हे व्रत आचरावे; स्त्रियांसाठी सौभाग्य देणारे या व्रतासारखे दुसरे व्रत नाही।
