Sūta (narrating the Purāṇic teaching; praise of the Anukramaṇikā’s merit within the Narada Purana’s summary section)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It declares a phala-śruti: even engaging with the Purāṇa’s Anukramaṇikā through recitation or attentive hearing becomes spiritually efficacious, because the fruition is ultimately attributed to Kṛṣṇa’s grace.
It highlights bhakti-practice through śravaṇa (hearing) and pāṭha (recitation), teaching that sincere contact with sacred narration—especially with faith—invites Kṛṣṇa-prasāda, which grants the sought fruit.
While not a technical Vedāṅga lesson, it reflects the discipline of structured study via anukramaṇikā (ordered indexing/summary), emphasizing systematic listening/reading as a practical method for retaining Purāṇic content.
