प्रतिसर्गाह्वयं पश्चान्नानाख्यानसमन्वितम् । पुराणस्योपसंहारसहितं पर्व पंचमम् ॥ १० ॥

pratisargāhvayaṃ paścānnānākhyānasamanvitam | purāṇasyopasaṃhārasahitaṃ parva paṃcamam || 10 ||

त्यानंतर ‘प्रतिसर्ग’ नावाचे पाचवे पर्व येते; ते नानाविध आख्यानांनी युक्त असून पुराणाच्या उपसंहारासहित वर्णिले आहे।
