Adhyaya 32 — Rules for Parvana Śrāddha: Foods that Please the Ancestors and Items to Avoid
नग्नाः पातकिनश्चैव हन्युर्दृष्ट्या पितृक्रियाम् ।
अपुमानपविद्धश्च कुक्कुटो ग्रामशूकरः ॥
nagnāḥ pātakinaś caiva hanyur dṛṣṭyā pitṛ-kriyām / apumāna-paviddhaś ca kukkuṭo grāma-śūkaraḥ
नग्न मनुष्य व पापी, केवळ दर्शनानेच पितृकर्म दूषित करतात. तसेच कोंबडा, गावचा डुक्कर, आणि ‘अपुमान-पविद्ध’ (निंद्य/अशुचि) व्यक्ती—यांनाही दूर ठेवावे.
