The Birth of Mahiṣāsura and the Goddess’s Victory as Mahīṣamardinī

तावद् दैत्यबलं सर्वं मुक्त्वा देवचमूं द्रुतम् । आययौ यत्र तद् देव्याः सन्नद्धं स्त्रीबलं महत् ॥

tāvad daityabalaṃ sarvaṃ muktvā devacamūṃ drutam | āyayau yatra tad devyāḥ sannaddhaṃ strībalaṃ mahat ||

അതേസമയം, മുഴുവൻ ദൈത്യസൈന്യവും ദേവസൈന്യത്തെ വിട്ട് വേഗത്തിൽ അവിടേക്ക് എത്തി; അവിടെ ദേവിയുടെ മഹത്തായ, സന്നദ്ധമായ സ്ത്രീസൈന്യം തയ്യാറായി നിലകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു।
