लोकमार्गस्थितिं कर्त्तुं निद्राज्ञानेन मोहितः । चिन्तयामास देवेशो नात्र वेदा व्यवस्थिताः ॥ ९.२५ ॥

lokamārgasthitiṁ karttuṁ nidrājñānena mohitaḥ | cintayāmāsa deveśo nātra vedā vyavasthitāḥ || 9.25 ||

നിദ്രയും അജ്ഞാനവും മൂലം മോഹിതനായ ദേവേശൻ ലോകമാർഗ്ഗത്തിന്റെ ക്രമം സ്ഥാപിക്കുവാൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു—“ഇവിടെ വേദങ്ങൾ ഇനിയും യഥാസ്ഥാനമായി ക്രമീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടില്ല” എന്നു।
