सृष्ट्यर्थमेतत्तव देव चेष्टितं न मुख्यपक्षे तव मूर्तिता विभो । अजानता ध्यानमिदं प्रकाशितं नैभिर्विना लक्ष्यसे त्वं पुराण ॥ ५५.३८ ॥

sṛṣṭyartham etat tava deva ceṣṭitaṃ na mukhyapakṣe tava mūrtitā vibho | ajānatā dhyānam idaṃ prakāśitaṃ naibhir vinā lakṣyase tvaṃ purāṇa || 55.38 ||

ഹേ ദേവാ, സൃഷ്ടിക്കായിട്ടാണ് ഇത് നിന്റെ ലീലാചേഷ്ട; ഹേ വിഭോ, നിന്റെ മൂർത്തിധാരണം നിന്റെ സ്വഭാവത്തിന്റെ മുഖ്യസ്ഥിതി അല്ല. അറിയാത്തവർക്കായി ഈ ധ്യാനോപദേശം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ഈ ഉപായങ്ങളില്ലാതെ, ഹേ പുരാണ, നിന്നെ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ ലക്ഷ്യമാക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ല.
