ब्रह्मा पशुपतिं प्राह प्रसन्नेनान्तरात्मना । चतुर्दशी ते देवेश तिथिरस्तु न संशयः ॥ ३३.२८ ॥

brahmā paśupatiṁ prāha prasannenāntarātmanā | caturdaśī te deveśa tithir astu na saṁśayaḥ || 33.28 ||

ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അന്തരാത്മയിൽ പ്രസന്നനായി പശുപതിയോട് പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ ദേവേശാ! ചതുര്ദശി നിന്റെ തിഥിയാകട്ടെ; സംശയമില്ല.”
