यः समः सर्वभूतेषु जितात्मा शान्तमानसः ॥ स पापेभ्यो विमुच्येत ज्ञानवान्सर्ववेदवित् ॥

സകലഭൂതങ്ങളോടും സമഭാവമുള്ളവനും, ആത്മനിയന്ത്രണമുള്ളവനും, ശാന്തമനസ്സുള്ളവനും—ജ്ഞാനവാനും സർവ്വവേദവിദുമായവൻ—പാപങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് വിമുക്തനാകും.
