शुश्रूषया विपन्नानां शूद्राणां च वरानने॥ त्रयोदशे दिने प्राप्ते सुपक्वैर्भोजयेद्द्विजान्

ഹേ വരാനനേ, ദുരിതത്തിലായവർക്കു—ശൂദ്രരെയും ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി—സേവാഭാവത്തോടെ, പതിമൂന്നാം ദിവസം വന്നാൽ, നന്നായി പാകം ചെയ്ത ആഹാരത്തോടെ ദ്വിജന്മാരെ ഭോജിപ്പിക്കണം.
